A Saddest Factory Comic 4

I really need to come up with a better title than "A Saddest Factory Comic" for these things. Don't want to break fourth wall and such with the name, you know. Also, I've pickled myself (put myself in a pickle) because the main character is fictional (but based on me obviously)... and now whenever my vanity causes me to draw myself, I draw that character which isn't technically supposed to be me. Man, life is tough for an artist, huh?

Here's the latest. I finally inked it and then put it together in GIMP. Click it, why do not you (wow, that phrase is odd without the contraction)?

Also, someone has subscribed to my RSS Feed. Yes, I'm so awesome!

I think "Adventures in Dating" was already used. Maybe "Adam in Punderland."

I've been using GIMP off and on. Mainly because I don't feel like buying/stealing PhotoShop for the few things I need to do to pictures.

I am a subscriber, because I always forget to check things otherwise. And also, you're awesome.

Hahaha, It's funny because it's true!

I like Richard's ideas! But I am also fond of Saddest Factory.

:)

Richard: I like your avatar.

This one cracked me up! I'm planning on getting GIMP downloaded later this summer; you'll have to teach me :)

And it wasn't me on the RSS feed. I don't even know what that means.

Oh, and I like the new pencil drawing on your blog.

Ooh, comments!
Richard and Sandy, I'm trying to think of a way to incorporate Saddest Factory into the title, because that's where some of the characters work (there really will be more characters eventually, I promise!). But thanks for suggestions and so forth!

cranfiggity! You left a comment! Yowza. And it's only half-true. The first time someone sees my car they have trouble with the handle because of where they are on the car and such things... but it's from INSIDE that there's an actual "trick" to it. Remember this is fiction. Totally fiction... yeah, believe that at all?

Phil, glad you liked this one and the new heading image (though I'm thinking about maybe doing something else with the latter, if only making it look better by drawing it in GIMP). And the RSS feed is like bookmarking a page... but it automatically updates and tells you if anything is new.

Wow, I just wrote a lot.

Thanks for the comments, peeps!

No Name Me: Awesome name. Also, my avatar is the comic version of me that my friend Robert draws over at Reinventing the Wheel. He doesn't draw comics as much anymore, though, we've become enamoured of animated video game reviews.

Phil: An easy way to get started with RSS, if you're so inclined, is Google Reader.
